Shameless Self-Promotion!

The jazzy side of me is putting a lot of time into my Metheny-influenced group Straight On Red these days. I'm quite fortuante to be playing with some very talented guys.

The world-renowned madison_ave_jammers are on a bit of a hiatus now, after playing in front of thousands at the Central Park bandshell. You can watch me over here if you need a laugh!

Last year, we were graced with the presence of the lovely and talented Kelly Levesque -- check out Respect, and even better, Natural Woman

New to blogs and rss? There are several cool ways to consume these glorious words, pictures and music :-) These programs can periodically check to see if there's something new on the blog, so you don't have to click on the bookmark every day:

In a browser. I use the Sage extension to Mozilla Firefox

From an email+news+rss reading program such as Mozilla Thunderbird, which can sort by title/subject/etc, (which is very useful for some feeds)

From a dedicated rss-reading program such as SharpReader on Windows

In a musicplayer/browser "mashup" program such as Mozilla Songbird (my current favorite -- a glimpse into the future)

From a mobile device rss reader such as pRssReader on Windows Mobile. (There are several available for blackberry devices also, but I don't have one, so I can't really offer a recommendation.)
